About me!
I am 24 years old I was born in LA.
My family moved up to Santa Barbara when I was in second grade. I attended, St.
Raphael School, it is a Catholic school. I was always a shy kid so being with
the same 30 kids form 2-8 grade helped me. My dad had an arcade business when I
was young. So I played a lot of video games. It was a dying business after the
creation of Nintendo. I remember walking into the garage and having 16 arcade
games to play. My family is very important to me. I have a sister who is 30 and
a brother who is 25.
I went to high school At Dos
Pueblos. High school was a big change for me. Most of my friends from junior
high went to Bishop, which is the Catholic high school. This forced me to come
out of my shell. It is still not natural for me to be outgoing but I continue
to work on it.
I played basketball my freshman year. The rest
of my time I spend working, lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons. I bought a
new mustang when I was 17 and it was a big part of my life for a while. I
attended CSUN University for two years. I did not like it down there and had to
return to SB. My time away really made me appreciate this town and I realized
how lucky we are to live here.
This was a major turning point in
my life. I started to look at life differently. Instead of just living in the
moment, I started to look at the bigger picture. I started working at Santa
Barbara Unified School district In IT (technology,). I found out that this was
a good field of work for me. I was good at it and there was room for growth. I
got a new job about a year ago at Montecito Union District. I also started my
own (IT) service company. My biggest client is Zaca Mesa Winery.
I consider myself an adrenaline
junkie. Adventurer is another term I would like to use. I like anything with a
motor, cars, motorcycles, and boats. I am also an animal lover. I don't
consider my self a work out fanatic, but I like to run, swim and lift weights.
I like to Scuba Dive and Ride horses.
I loaded some of my go pro videos
to you tube. Check them out. The horse ride is from yesterday!
Dive video. The quality is reduced for you tube.
Beach horse ride for Sunday.
Enjoy figuring out your life. It isn't easy transitioning to being outgoing but no one said you had to, just as long as people understand it isn't personal to them. Sometimes a situation calls for being personable but it doesn't mean you have to be outgoing all the time. Thanks for the dive video!!!!
